Furnace and Oil Tank Room for
the Eastern Side of the Knight Homestead
I had hoped we could put a furnace down cellar for both houses, but right now all I can deal with is one. There is a large mold problem on Dad’s side of the house, so I must just work on this side. This eastern side was insulted in 1990 or so but the furnace gave out and will need to be replaced.
I would like to get a combination hot air and hot water furnace so that both systems can be used.
The spot of the
oil tank is because we must now dig up the one we were required to put
in the ground and place a free standing one in a building.
Since this can not
go down cellar, this seemed to be the only solution. It does take windows
off of the porch though.
