This area was used often by my Aunt Elizabeth Sleep and Uncle Harold Knight for eating in the summertime when it was cool and often for breakfast as the sun is rising in the east. They enjoyed this area and Charlie Knight would like to return this area to the original usage they had for it.

Also they often had a couch on the porch where you could lay down in the daytime. This couch was large enough to serve as a guest bedroom if need be, and once again, Charlie would like to return this room to its intended usage.

Note the Furnace room door is right to the left of the Washing machine notation in the top of this room. The intention is to put the automatic washer here (and maybe at some time a combination washer and dryer unit). But for right now the washing machine would go here and tie into the dry well drain for the water from the kitchen sink. It could also serve a second usage to be like a table is someone is visiting, and the couch is being used as a bed.

If none of the couches in the homestead are usable, purchasing a futon might solve this usage of a couch/bed arraignment. Much of what is stored here will either be placed in some other storage area or discarded.

The Table is a baked enamel one and I thing the closet (at the very top of the image) has in it another leaf so this table could also fit many people.

There is a lighted garden area where my Uncle Harold used to start plants early, and my Uncle Joe wanted to buy that. I did not sell it to Uncle Joe before he died and would like to grow things in memory of both my Uncles by using this area.

For fenestration's sake one of the windows near the door may need to be covered over, or a trellis with flowers/vines on it installed.

The door needs to be rebuilt and the better thing might be to just replace it all with a slightly larger door, and I was thinking about small windows on either side of the door that leads to the main entry way to the house.
