The bath room I could not get a picture of when I first visited the house. Actually the smell and such was overwhelming an I took a few photos and then dismissed the house as not worth it. But God had another plan and He has had this house on my mind for months now. It went for 11,000 in The first auction, and then the buyers defaulted, then it went for 24,000 in the second auction, and it looks like the same will happen. The man next door said he was going to petition the city to have it torn down. I want to repair it. This will mean doing quite a bit of work on the bathroom, kitchenette, and the plumbing and sewer to the street. The first window on the left side of the house is the bathroom, and the toilet is probably right against the front wall as that is where the vent pipe is going up through the roof. I have thought of what kind of window I could put to the left of the door, and have concluded that such a window would probably not give much light into the bathroom. If it could be done, it might be a heavy frosted glass so no one could see in, but light could come in. But for right now it looks like the simplest thing is just to put a trellis there in the summer to balance off the house some. Of course is one mirrored the house in enlarging it and put a window or something in the middle, or a car-port the fenestration problem would be solved.
