The
Graphic Arts Department offers a curriculum designed
to prepare students for the many and varied careers
available in the commercial printing and advertising
business. The courses are devoted to functional
discussions crossing most branches of the printing
industry. It is the objective of the department
to relate the many branches of the industry to each
other and to the totality of contemporary printing.
Rochester
Institute of Technology, as well as other institutions
offering Graphic Arts specialty courses, have indicated
that they will accept credits from this program
toward an advanced degree in Printing and Publishing.
The
buttons above will take you to pages that have our
Instructors,
a listing of the departments Programs
(Degree and Certificate options), Galleries
that will show student and faculty work and a Courses
& Labs page to give the course descriptions
and the times our labs are available for usage.
We
also have a more interactive page that has been
created by faculty, staff, and students for those
with the newest browsers. All of the information
on that page is available from this more universally
accessable page.
The
mission
statement and vision
statement of the department are each found at
the bottom of this page, just before the text links.
You can always come back to this page by clicking
