can see from this image that the box to the right of the supporting pillar
does seem to be a clothes washer, and that the place is full of cob webs,
in addition to the filth everywhere. The place is not insulated and it
would seem to me that I would want to insulate this floor area. The rumor
is that a few years ago the conversion was made to gas fired hot air,
and the ductwork does look shinny and new.
