This is that same view from another spot in the rear cellar window. The washing machine is more clearly seen s is the hot water heater. Do note the crisscross supports in the supporting beams showing a construction style consistent with the 1940's. I doubt that there is much room down here for anything but what is here. But it might be able to be insulated some.
