Comments about the Carolers at Mercy Care Center

The images to the right will be about the same for a bit as they depict the carolers after returning from singing for about 100 shut-ins.

At the Mercy Care Center on Pine Street in Springfield they went up and down the aisles where the residents had been wheeled out into wheel chairs, regular chairs and "gerri" chairs. The carolers walked slowly up and down the aisles as they sang. Twice they were asked to come into a "community" room and stop and sing.

Often the people could not move much but would move thier mouths or just thier eyes would dance at the pleasure of some-one caroling for them.
