The “kitchenette” area from the “front room” doorway.

Please try and look past the laundry and trash, trash, trash. Look past the animal urination trails, ripped curtains and closets and see what could be. The sink area will have to be redone and this is a good time to replace things. The stove and refrigerator might or might not be serviceable. The same is true of the microwave and we might put more cabinets over the stove. But this is a bit larger than the kitchenette area I have now and it has a real refrigerator (if it can be made to work and be clean). We want to replace the curtained overhang at the sink are with real sinks. The thing that looks like a faucet is really part of the hinge for the refrigerator who's door we see on the left of this picture. The widow over the sink is pretty much on the north/northwest side of the house. Bill Curran from our church has started a remodeling company and redid the rectory for St. David’s. Maybe Bill could give me some pointers so I could get the work done. On the other had I could not think of a better before and after presentation that this dump of a kitchenette as compared to almost anything that would replace it. Look to the left of the stove. See what seems to be a bread tin. Then look at the shelf above it and see the debris outline, yup it looks like that was on this shelf. I'm not a lot into fancy things, but I like this kitchenette as something for a single male. Just get up out of bed, go to the bathroom and shower, get dressed and eat something, and then out the back door to work.
