Can
you see the two small door window panes at the top of the door? And then
the aluminum overhang. But see how tight the overhand is, I think it bees
to be greater. Of course we want to point up the chimney and remove the
TV antenna from the drain pipe and put a cap on that drain pipe. We also
need to maybe redo the entire roof. You can see that the shingles on the
siding are Asbestos and they will need to be removed, but when and at
what cost is another question. You can also see an aluminum storm door,
so that goes with the overhang and the period of design for this cottage.
If this goes up for auction again, I would like to know what the cost
would be to have the shingles removed and insulated siding placed on the
building. If I can not do that right away, maybe I can seal the broken
edges of the asbestos shingles. I do like the aluminum storm door and
would like to have it functioning well.
