The “L” in the back room.

is a shot, through the window, of the L shaped addition to the back room.
The wall to the left shows the beginning of this. The wall is created
because that is where we are going down the cellar stairs. This is a very
small room, but it would be enough for a computer room or den. It had
been used for a dressing room or storage room. Here we see the upright
of a mirror and the remnants of foodstuffs. We will continue to look in
through the windows as we walk around the house until we get to the back
door again and go inside. You could not go into the house, except on a
specific day when the city had the front door open (I am afraid the back
door was broken and so people could get into the house a lot at other
times. I tried to put the back door shut the last time I was at the house
just before the tax auction.
